Gilbert Brown Jr., a native of Houma, and resident of Dallas, Texas, died 
Sunday, May 5, 2013.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until funeral time Monday at Kennedy Funeral 
Home in Raceland. Funeral services will be at noon Monday at the funeral home, 

with burial in Halfway Cemetery in Gray.

He is survived by his mother, Gertrude V. Brown; his wife, Delphine O. Young 
Brown; daughter, Natasha Brown; sons, Gilbert Brown III and Edward D. Brown; 
sister, Joyce M. Brown; and brothers, Frederick (Danielle) Brown, Leroy Brown 
and Leonard (Elizabeth) Brown.

He was preceded in death by his father, Gilbert Brown Sr.; sister, Janice M. 
Brown; and grandparents, Laura M. Victor and Chris Victor, and Alma Brown and 
Joseph Brown.

Kennedy Funeral Home in Raceland is in charge of arrangements.
