He was born May 1, 1960. A Memorial Service will be at 6 p.m. Tuesday at First United Methodist Church in Thibodaux. He is survived by his wife, Tammy Simoneaux Cofer; father, Jim Cofer and wife, India; daughter, Riley Cofer of Monroe, N.C.; brother, Mike Cofer of Henderson, Nev.; nephews, Jackson and Spencer Cofer; stepchildren, Tara Loeske and husband, Jacob, Taylor Zeringue and Austin Loupe; and grandson, Cooper Loeske. He is also survived by his extended family, The Aizens, Benoits, Simoneauxs, Stevens, and Phoenixs. He was preceded in death by his mother, Geraldine Davis Cofer. He was an avid golfer and loved playing the guitar and hunting. The family wishes to express their gratitude to Dr. Laura Campbell Chauvin, Dr. Jody Plaisance, and all the staff at Thibodaux Regional Cancer Center, our Angels on Earth.
