Nora Tregle Cortez, 61, a native and resident of Des Allemands, died at 9:35 
p.m. Tuesday, May 7, 2013, in Luling.

Visitation will be from 8:30 a.m. until funeral time Friday at St. Gertrude 
Catholic Church in Des Allemands. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. 
Friday at the church, 

with burial in St. Gertrude Catholic Church cemetery in Des Allemands.

She is survived by her husband, Rodney Cortez; mother, Anita Tregle; brothers, 
Adlar Jr., Harry, Dino and Vincent Tregle; sisters, Joyce Matherne and Adaline 
Comardelle; and grandchildren, Marissa and Maliry Budzinski.

She was preceded in death by her son, Chad Smith; daughter, Dawn Budzinski; and 
father, Adlar Tregle Sr.

Falgout Funeral Home in Raceland is in charge of arrangements.
