Elta R. Dufrene, 88, a native of Mathews and resident of Raceland, died 
Saturday, May 4, 2013.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Wednesday at St. Hilary of 
Poitiers Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. 
Wednesday, 

with burial in Holy Savior Cemetery.

She is survived by her husband of 71 years, Albert P. Dufrene Sr.; sons, Albert 
"Al" (Bobbie) Dufrene Jr. and Glenn (Susan) Dufrene; daughters, Carolyn (Carl) 
Sevier and Cindy Folse and companion, Neal Hohensee; brother, Douglas 
Rodriguez; sisters, Audrey R. Matherne and Cleo R. Landeche; 10 grandchildren; 
and 10 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Whitney and Laura Rodriguez; and 
sister, Norma R. Foret.

Falgout Funeral Home in Raceland is in charge of arrangements.
