Lynn Joseph Dufrene Jr., "L.J." to his family and friends, went to be with our 
Lord and Savior Tuesday, May 14, 2013.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until funeral time Thursday at Sacred Heart 
Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian burial will be at noon Thursday at the 
church, 

with burial in Sacred Heart Catholic Church cemetery.

L.J.'s memory will be carried on by his wife of 62 years, Gloria P. Dufrene; 
daughters, Michele Lynn Dufrene Martin and husband, Johnny, Leslie Anne Dufrene 
Plaisance and husband, L.J., and René Mary Dufrene Duet and husband, Glenn; 
brother, Leon Dufrene; sister, Leona Robichaux; grandchildren, Tait Martin, 
Alicia Thompson, Elizabeth Kneier and Cody Duet; step-grandchildren, Monte and 
Shannon Plaisance; great-grandchildren, Catherine Thompson, Joseph Kneier and 
Jack Thompson; and step-great-grandchildren, Brock, Hannah, Macy, Luke, Lily 
and James Plaisance.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lynn Sr. and Cecila Dufrene; and 
sisters, Lois and Marilyn Dufrene.

Samart-Mothe Funeral Home in Cut Off is in charge of arrangements.
