Grace Marie Duncan Ellis, 51, a native and resident of Thibodaux, died 
Thursday, May 23, 2013.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Thursday at Bell Baptist 
Church in Raceland. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the church, 

with burial in Moses Baptist Church Cemetery in Thibodaux.

She is survived by her husband, Kevin Ellis Sr.; son, Kevin Ellis Jr.; 
daughter, Ashland Ellis; brothers, Warren and Wayne Duncan and Muhammad (Diana) 
Abdullah; sisters, Wanda (Ronnie) Steib, Linda Duncan and Joyce (Ronald) 
Hadley; and two grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lily Mae Duncan and Alex King; and 
brother, Bernard "Pony" Duncan.

Kennedy Funeral Home in Raceland is in charge of arrangements.
