Esteve, 82, a native of Thibodaux and resident of Gretna, died Tuesday, April 30, 2013. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation from 6 to 10 p.m. Friday at Mothe Funeral Home at 2100 Westbank Expressway in Harvey. Visitation will continue from 10 a.m. until funeral time Saturday at St. Joseph Co-Cathedral in Thibodaux. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the church, with burial in St. Joseph Co-Cathedral cemetery in Thibodaux. He was the beloved husband of the late Mary G. Esteve for 49 years and the loving father of Nancy E. (John) Saltzman and Glenn F. (Kathy Lester) Esteve; brother of Herbert Esteve and the late Gilbert and Erline Esteve; and son of the late Loretta Clement Esteve and André Esteve. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean Conflict as a sergeant and received two bronze stars for his service. He retired from the City of Gretna Maintenance Dept. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus Archbishop Blenk Council No. 1905 and a lifetime member of the David Crockett Vol. Fire Dept. In lieu of flowers, memorial Masses in his name are preferred. Mothe Funeral Home in Harvey is in charge of arrangements. ======================
