Lonnie Munson Fortner Sr., 88, a native and resident of Paincourtville, died 
Monday, May 22, 2013.

Visitation will be from 2 to 4:30 p.m.Friday at Williams and Southall Funeral 
Home in Napoleonville, and from 9 a.m. until funeral time Saturday at St. 
Charles Baptist Church in Paincourtville. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. 
Saturday at the church, 

with burial in St. Charles Baptist Church cemetery in Paincourtville.

He is survived by his daughter, Barbara (Southern) Harvey, of Paincourtville; 
sons, Lonnie Fortner Jr., of Paincourtville, and Terence Fortner, of 
Napoleonville; sister, Nelda Harden, of Paincourtville; four grandchildren; and 
four great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Nora Lee Fortner; parents Florence and 
Munson Fortner Sr.; brother, Selvin Fortner; and one sister, Carolyn Mickens.

Williams and Southall Funeral Home in Napoleonville is charge of arrangements.
