She was a lifelong resident of New Orleans until 2005, when she moved to Thibodaux. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation from 10 a.m. until funeral time Tuesday at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. in New Orleans. A Mass of Christian burial will be at noon Tuesday at the funeral home, with burial in Metairie Cemetery. She is survived by her daughter, Jane G. Zeringue and husband, Dr. Guy Zeringue Jr.; daughter-in-law, Gayle Graffagnini Griener; grandchildren, Guy Zeringue III (Myra), Nicholas J. Zeringue, Nano Z. Gros (Kevin), Robert Favret Jr. (Cammy), Megan F. Denkman (Mike), Todd Graffagnini (Holly), Kyle Graffagnini (Gigi), Keith Graffagnini Jr. (Dana), Jon Graffagnini, David Griener Jr. (Diane), and Grayden Griener (Brandee); 21 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Nicholas J. Graffagnini; son, Keith Graffagnini Sr.; daughter, Karen G. Favret; son-in-law, Robert Favret Sr.; son- in-law, David Griener Sr.; great-grandchild, Maelan Graffagnini; and parents, Vincent and Camile Serio Venturella. Mary was an extraordinary person in every way. She was loved by all who knew her and will be greatly missed. The family deeply appreciates the loving care and concern given by the administration and staff of St. Joseph Manor in Thibodaux and her devoted caretakers. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in her name may be made to St. Joseph Manor, 1201 Cardinal Drive, Thibodaux, LA 70301.
