Hebert, 75, a native of Houma and resident of Lafayette, died Monday, May 20, 2013. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Delhomme Funeral Home, 1011 Bertrand Drive in Lafayette. Burial at Magnolia Cemetery in Houma will be at a later date. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Dorothy Picone Hebert; sons, Frank J. Hebert III and wife, Jane R. Hebert, of Lafayette, Bill K.J. Hebert, of Dallas, Texas, and Mark G. Hebert and wife, Sheron T. Hebert, of Lafayette; adopted son, Bryan Olson and wife, Heather M. Olson; mother-in-law, Althea F. Picone, of Houma; sister, Betty H. Olivier, of Houma, and grandchildren, Andrew, Jacob, Kyle, Matthew, Josh, Jared and Morgan Hebert. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alex Hebert Sr. and Vernice Dupre Hebert; brother, Alex Hebert Jr.; and father-in-law, Wilbert V. Picone. He was a 1955 graduate of Terrebonne High School. Later he managed Pitt Grill Restaurants in Lafayette, which later became Kettle Restaurants. In addition, he had a brief career in the oilfield working for Patterson Rental Tools. He enjoyed cooking, gardening and following LSU sports. He loved spending time at his camp in Cypremore Point, especially with his grandchildren. He will be deeply missed.
