Edward Stephen "Hip Cat" Hills, 84, a native and resident of Thibodaux, died 
Saturday, May 4, 2013.

Visitation will be from 8 a.m. until funeral time Friday at St. Luke Catholic 
Church in Thibodaux. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Friday at 
the church, 

with burial in St. Joseph Cemetery in Thibodaux.

He is survived by his sons, Edward (Bernadette) Stephen Hills Jr. and Rodney 
Paul Hills; daughters, Sandra (Raymond) Johnson Freeman, Terri (Elliott) Hills 
Hastings and Paula Marie Hills; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Audrey Joseph Hills; parents, Paul and 
Octavia Belcher Hills; son, Larry Johnson; sister, Ethel Hills Turner; and two 
grandchildren.

Kennedy Funeral Home in Raceland is in charge of arrangements.
