Delene P. Himel, 52, a native of Thibodaux and resident of Houma, died Monday, 
April 29, 2013.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Saturday at St. Genevieve 
Catholic Church in Thibodaux. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. 
Saturday at the church, 

with burial in St. Joseph Cemetery at a later date.

She is survived by her husband, Barry Himel; sons, Dale Lirette Jr. and Matthew 
Lirette and wife, Angela; daughters, Jesslyn Lirette, Brittany Lirette and 
Nicole Stein and husband, Michael; sister, Lori Legendre and husband, Lonnie; 
and grandchildren, Olivia and Mattie Lirette and Colt and Luke Stein.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd and Dolores L. Poche; grandson, 
Jori Lirette; and grandparents, Richard LaClair and Lena LaClair, Ned J. Poche 
Sr. and Henrietta Poche.

Thibodaux Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
