Charles "Cheaky" Hirsch, 84, a native of Belle Rose and resident of 
Donaldsonville, died Tuesday, May 28, 2013.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Monday at First Israel 
Baptist Church in Belle Rose. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the 
church, 

with burial in First Israel Baptist Church cemetery in Belle Rose.

He is survived by his stepson, Charles Crenshaw; sisters, Earline Lemon, Eula 
Jones (Sam), Effie Stewart, and Joyce Patterson (Robert); and brothers, 
Carlton, Leonard, Roland, and Alfred (Lucina) Simon.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Selena Hirsch; stepfather, Marva Simon 
Sr.; parents, Lucien Hirsch and Elvia Simon; daughter, Barbara Hirsch; 
brothers, Alton and Marva Simon; and sister, Mildred Dorsey.

Williams and Southall Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
