Shirley Mae "Shirl" Jarvis, 79, a native and resident of Belle Rose, died 
Saturday May 25, 2013.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday and from 9 a.m. until funeral time 
Saturday at Rose Hill Baptist Church. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. 
Saturday at the church, 

with burial in Rose Hill Baptist Church cemetery.

She is survived by her sons, Jon (Regina), Leonard, Ronnie and Danny (Judy) 
Jarvis; daughters, Gwendolyn, Melanie and Robin Jarvis, Dannette (Rudy) August, 
Regina (Joseph) Landry and Lisa (Cliff) Durham; brother, Arthur (Rosetta) 
Jarvis; sisters Elizabeth Jarvis and Mary Ann Sims; 27 grandchildren, and 36 
great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Hirley and Alfred Jarvis Sr.; 
brother, Alfred Jarvis Jr.; sisters, Alice Jarvis, Rose Mae Bell and Margaret 
Hamilton; and one grandson.

Williams and Southall Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
