Alvin "Big Al" Johnson Sr., 48, a native and resident of Napoleonville, died 
Saturday, April 27, 2013.

Visitation will be from 2 to 4:30 p.m. Friday at Williams and Southall Funeral 
Home in Napoleonville and from 9 a.m. until funeral time Saturday at Nelson 
Chapel AME Church in Napoleonville. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. 
Saturday at the church, 

with burial in Nelson Chapel AME Church cemetery in Napoleonville.

He is survived by his mother, Audrey Johnson, of Napoleonville; father, Lionel 
Jefferson, of Boutte; son, Alvin Johnson Jr., of Napoleonville; daughters, 
Bianca Johnson, of New Orleans, and Danyelle Johnson, of Bush; sisters, Mioshi 
(Joseph) Gore, of Napoleonville, and Lisa (Melvin) Davis, of New Orleans; 
maternal grandmother, Olevia Daniels, of Napoleonville; and companion, Ellioles 
Thomas, of Napoleonville.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Rodney Robertson; and sister, Peggy 
Johnson.

Williams and Southall Funeral Home in Napoleonville is in charge of 
arrangements.
