LEWIS, MATTIE 

Mattie H. Lewis, 99, a native of Bassfield, Miss., and resident of Baton Rouge, 
died Friday, April 26, 2013.

Visitation will be from 1 to 4 p.m. Friday at Winfield Funeral Home. Funeral 
services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 

with burial in Bogalusa Cemetery.

She is survived by her daughters, Gercia L. Richardson and Mary P. Ruffin; 
sister, Rosie Lee Price; 13 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and 12 
great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Eugene and Alice Thompson; brother, 
Clenward Thompson; and grandson, William Richardson.

Winfield Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
