"Sal" Lopiccolo, 80, a native of New Orleans and resident of Houma, passed away Monday, May 27, 2013. A memorial service will be held at a later date. He is survived by his beloved wife of 30 years, Jean Babin Lopiccolo; sons, Richard, Michael and Dan (Valarie) Lopiccolo, and Harold (Vicki) and Michael Chauvin Sr.; daughters, Diane Jones (Joe) and Jeannine (Paul) Bergeron; brothers, Natale J. (Marilyn) and John Jr. (Virginia) Lopiccolo; sister, Agnes Anna (Steve) Berger; grandchildren, Rick, Cecilia, Aurora and Evangeline Lopiccolo, Desire and Mark Bourgeois, Heather Lopiccolo, Anthony Ciardullo, Toni, Ezekiel and Zara Lopiccolo, Jake Starr and Joey Jones, Shane and Jené and Sophie Chauvin, Michael Jr. and Michelle Chauvin, Phillip, Sarah, Christopher and Mitchell Bergeron; great-grandchhildren, Aaliyah Bourgeois, Dejah and Dan Miller, Tyler, Hannah and Seth Bourgeois, Sinjuin Ciardullo, Madison Bergeron, Jonas Bergeron and Chloe Chauvin. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Josephine Lopiccolo; sons, John and Joseph Lopiccolo; and daughter, Laura Bourgeois. He was born in the French Quarter in New Orleans and went to grammar school at St. Louis Cathedral. He attended Jesuit High School and graduated from Florida State University. He received his master's degree from USC. He retired after 20 years in the Air Force in 1973. He loved to travel and read. His body was donated to LSU Medical Center. ======================
