Horace Joseph Lovell Sr., 64, a native of New Orleans and resident of Houma, 
died Wednesday, May 29, 2013.

Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday and from 9 a.m. until funeral time 
Saturday at Samart Funeral Home in Houma. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. 
Saturday at the funeral home, 

with burial in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No.2.

He is survived by his wife, Regina Lovell; parents, Lawrence and Eunice Lovell; 
sons, Joey Lovell and wife, Rochelle, Horace Lovell Jr. and wife, Amy, Brian 
Lovell and wife, Stephanie, and P.J. Theriot; daughters, Jodie Lovell and 
Roxanne Bourg and husband, Ferrel; brothers, Junior Lovell; sisters, Elta Duet 
and husband, Michael, Bessie Solet and husband, Easton, Sarah Naquin and 
husband, Michael, and Caroline Portier and husband, Troy.; grandchildren, Jordy 
Bourg and companion, Jamie Chauvin, Joshua Lovell and fiancee, Kinslee 
Defilice, Jacob Bourg, Ricky and Jonathan Hebert, Kacie and Allana Lovell, 
Trevor Hebert, Kaylie, Kristin, Taylor, Jenna and Gavin Lovell and Kenneth 
Theriot; and great-grandchildren, Briella Boquet and Kip Bouquet.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Norris Lovell.

Samart Funeral Home in Houma is in charge of arrangements.
