Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafourche/obits/dateobits/2013/f1305.htm and click on the name of interest. ========== Frances Ann Crump Modisette, 79, a native of Haynesville, and resident of Gray, died at 3:42 a.m. Saturday, May 18, 2013. Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. until funeral time Thursday at First Baptist Church in Houma. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at the church, with a graveside service at 4 p.m. Friday in Shady Grove Cemetery in Haynesville. She is survived by her husband, James Osburn Modisette, of Gray; daughters, Marr Shan Cagle and husband, Willard, of Sicily, Italy, Cidney Ordoyne and husband, Timmy, of Schriever, and Darcee Bex and husband, Russell, of Lafayette; grandchildren, Drew and Derrick Pope, Dallas, Matthew and Megan Cagle, Blake and Baylor Ordoyne, and Logan and Ryan Bex; great-grandchildren, Alexis Pope, Samantha Pope, Brayden Ordoyne, Aaden Pope and Aubrianna Pope; and brother, Charles "Wayne" Crump and companion, Nancy Ellington, of Shreveport. She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert Jack Crump and Eula Mae Rinicker Crump. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Houma. Frances taught for more than 30 years at Terrebonne and H.L. Bourgeois High Schools. She then became a member of the Terrebonne Parish School Board for eight years. For the past 10 years she was the guidance counselor at Upper Little Caillou Elementary School, Point-aux-Chenes Elementary School and Boudreaux Canal Elementary School. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in her name to Louisiana Baptist Children's Home, 7200 Desiard Street, Monroe, LA. Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. ======================
