Antoine J. Naquin Sr., 81, a native of Montegut and resident of Houma, died 
Wednesday, May 29, 2013.

Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Sunday and from 9 a.m. until funeral time 
Monday at Samart Funeral Home in Houma. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. 
Monday at the funeral home.

He is survived by his children, A.J. Naquin and wife, Charlotte, and Eldine 
Naquin and companion, Jacob Nuesslein; siblings, Elizabeth Dardar, Whiteney 
Naquin, Eddie Naquin and Tilman Naquin; grandchildren, Jackie Ledet, Lance 
Naquin, Seth Naquin, Mickey Broussard, Andrea Verdin, A.J. Naquin, Chad 
Sanchez, Hailey Sanchez, Jasmine Clark and Dylan Smith; and 14 great-
grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Agnes Sutherland Naquin; parents, Elphage 
and Elisia Naquin; siblings, Edna Foret, Delma Leboeuf, Luke Naquin, Alvin 
Naquin, Delvis Naquin, Anita Verdin, Larecia Williams and Ernest Naquin.

Samart Funeral Home in Houma is in charge of arrangements.
