Marie "Curlee" Ordoyne, 94, a native and resident of Choctaw, passed away 
Wednesday, May 1, 2013.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Saturday at St. James Chapel 
in Choctaw. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the 
church, 

with burial in St. James Chapel cemetery in Choctaw.

She is survived by her sons, Wilbert, Norris, Murphy and Richard Ordoyne; 
daughters, Mabel Gauthe, Gloria Bourgeios and Joyce Benoit; brother, Roger 
Sanchez; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-
grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilma Ordoyne; sons, Abby and Calvin 
Ordoyne; parents, Henrietta and Max "Mack" Sanchez; brothers Raymond, Wilton, 
Maureen and Jean "Clyne" Sanchez; sisters, Maggie Cortez, Nora Hebert, Eve 
Scioneaux, and Yvonne Tabor.

She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be dearly missed by all. 
She enjoyed working with her flowers, and her family always came first.

The family would like to thank Dr. Donepudi and staff, as well as the staff at 
Thibodaux Healthcare Center and St. Catherine Hospice.

Thibodaux Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
