Elsie Plaisance, 78, a native and resident of Lockport, died Saturday, May 25, 
2013.

Funeral services were at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Samart-Mothe Funeral Home in 
Raceland, 

with burial in Holy Savior Cemetery in Lockport.

She is survived by her daughters, Brenda Marie Lapeyrouse, of Houma, and Donna 
Marie Plaisance; brother, Byron Bergeron; and one grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gilbert Joseph Plaisance; father, 
Abel Joseph Bergeron; mother, Rita Guidry Bergeron; daughter, Patty Plaisance; 
brother, Abel Bergeron Jr.; and sister, Betty Bergeron Bourg.

Samart-Mothe Funeral Home in Raceland was in charge of arrangements.
