Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m.Tuesday and from 9 a.m. until funeral time Wednesday at Chauvin Funeral Home . A Mass of Christian burial will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at St. Francis de Sales Cathedral, with burial in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2. He is survived by his partner, Donald J. Picou; parents, Bernadine P. LeBoeuf and husband, Wilton, "his Dad"; brother, Jerome Portier and wife, Colleen; stepbrother, Floyd Picou Jr. and wife, Brenda; sisters, Marcia Rogers and husband, Bobbie, Jan Moore and husband, Matt, and Rosalyn Boudreaux and husband, Kevin; stepsisters, Ramona Brunet and husband, Jestin, Marion Lirette and husband, Michael, and Linda Hernandez and husband, Rick; stepchildren, Corey Picou and wife, Ginger, and Stacey Briolo and husband, Curtis; step- granddaughter, Grace Picou; and numerous nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews; and Bernadine P. LeBoeuf, of Chauvin. He was preceded in death by his father, Willard Joseph Portier; grandparents, Louis Pitre and Emily Scott Pitre, Clovis Portier and Mela White Portier; in- laws, Floyd Picou and Theresa Use Picou Ber; and stepsister, Anne Crochet and Anne LeBoeuf. He was a parishioner and usher of St. Francis de Sales Cathedral and enjoyed gardening and being with family and friends. He was an avid organist and played for more than 40 years. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in his name to the Hereditary Angioedema Association, P.O. Box 2755, Attleboro Falls, MA 02763.
