Belvin "Bell" Ruffin, 62, a native and resident of Gibson, died Thursday, April 
25, 2013.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time today at Community Funeral 
Home. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. today at the funeral home.

He is survived by his sons, Belvin (Shevelle) Ruffin Jr. and Michael Bernard, 
of New Orleans; sister, Rutha Mae Daggs, of Baton Rouge; brothers, Floyd 
(Annette) Ruffin Sr., of Gibson, and Gerald Ruffin, of Oakland, Calif.; and 
four grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Rufus and Pauline Green Ruffin; 
sister, Betty R. Johnson; brothers, Rufus Jr., Larry Sr. and Peter Ruffin; and 
one grandchild.

Community Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
