Norris "NuNu" Schexnayder, 90, a native of Vacherie, and resident of Houma, 
died at 10:05 p.m. Sunday, May 19, 2013.

Visitation will be from 8 a.m. until funeral time Wednesday at Chauvin Funeral 
Home. Liturgy of the Word will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, 

with burial in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2.

He is survived by his son, Jim Schexnayder and wife, Holly, of Houma; 
daughters, Jan Majerus and husband, Mike, of Houma, and Jeannie Dagenhardt and 
husband, Glynn, of Houma; grandchildren, Julie Dagenhardt and Alex Schexnayder; 
brothers, Clifton Schexnayder and wife, Joyce, and Edgar Schexnayder Jr.; and 
sisters-in-law, Anita Schexnayder and Nell Duplantis and husband, Ellery.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Julie B. Schexnayder; parents, Edgar 
Schexnayder Sr. and Alba Schexnayder; brothers, Harold and Irving Schexnayder; 
and sister, Carole Schexnayder.

He was a parishioner of St. Francis de Sales Cathedral and the owner of Shield 
Pest Control. 
He served as a corporal in the U.S. Army during World War II and was stationed 
in Panama. 
He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his children and 
grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in his name to TARC, No. 1 
McCord Road, Houma, LA 70363.

Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
