Micheal James "Nick" Stewart, a native of Gibson and resident of Terrebonne 
Parish, died at 1:42 a.m. Monday, May 20, 2013.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at Jones Funeral Home in Houma, and 
from 9 a.m. until funeral time Saturday at Triumph Baptist Church. Funeral 
services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church, 

with burial in Triumph Baptist Church cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Judy Ann Stewart; mother, Rosetta Ballard Stewart; 
sons, Shermann and Michael Hall, Joseph and Willie (Kiley) Stewart, Kason 
(Josephine) Johnson, Darius Smith, and Jamie (Roslyn) Simmons; daughter, Iaisha 
Turner; brothers, Joseph Jr. and Roosevelt Stewart Sr.; sisters, Penny Kennedy, 
Eartha Johnson, Rose Jones, Jeannie and Christine Stewart, and Maria (John) 
Ward; and nine grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Stewart Sr.; and sister, Vivian 
Young.

Jones Funeral Home in Houma in charge of arrangements.
