Irene Phillips Thiel, 41, died Saturday, April 27, 2013.

Visitation will be from 6 to 10 p.m. Friday and from 8 a.m. until funeral time 
Saturday at Mothe Funeral Home in Marrero. A Mass of Christian burial will be 
at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, 

with burial in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery.

She is survived by her sons, Rodney "TeeJay" Theil Jr., Joseph "Joey" Thiel and 
Curtis Thiel; three grandchildren; mother, Annamarie Phillips; and siblings, 
Joe Phillips, Melanie Carlisle, David (Robin) Phillips, Darlene (Van) Phillips 
and Missy (Joe) Polkey;

She was preceded in death by her father, Joseph F. Phillips.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the family to assist with 
funeral expenses.

Mothe Funeral Home in Marrero is in charge of arrangements.
