A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery. He is survived by his wife, Laura Ann Browning, of Montegut; daughters, Crystal Towns Allred and husband. He was preceded in death by his parents, Coleman "Red" Towns and Josephine "Billie" Rosson Towns. He was a senior engineer and project manager for the U. S. Army Corps of Engineers and GSA Consulting Engineers. He was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Chris was an avid bird and star watcher, and an active member of the Louisiana Wild Fowl Carvers and Collectors Guild. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and helping others. "He was never one to put himself first." Chris's family is heart broken, but comforted with their memories of their time with him. He had a huge family that grew exponentially. Everyone he met and worked with became new family members. He was loved by so many, it would be difficult to try to list everyone, but some very important people would include: Kendrick Green, Leah Chase, and the Rodrigue family. Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. ======================
