Richard John Vito, 60, a native of New Orleans, and resident of Houma, died 
Sunday, May 19, 2013.

A memorial service will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Grand Calliou Baptist 
Church.

He is survived by his spouse of 40 years, Elizabeth "Beth" Bergeron Vito; 
stepmother, Agnas Matherne Vito; sons Richard "Joshua" Vito and Seth Sebastian 
Vito; brothers, Regas John Vito; stepbrother, Van Matherne; sisters, Jerry 
Breaux and Judy DeHart Bourg; and grandchild, Antonio Sebastiano Vito.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Authur John Vito and Elnora LeBouef 
Vito; sisters, Nancy Nora Hebert and Betty Ann Autin; and stepsister, Jeannette 
Porche.

Richard was a retired worker for J. Ray McDermott and he will be greatly 
missed.

Samart Funeral Home in Houma is in charge of arrangements.
