Patricia A. Spencer Young, 56, a native and resident of Terrebonne Parish, died 
at 9:25 p.m. Wednesday, May 15, 2013.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m.Thursday at Jones Funeral Home in Houma, and 
from 9 a.m. until funeral time Friday at First Baptist Church in Schriever. 
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the church, 

with burial in St. Luke Baptist Church Cemetery.

She is survived by her sons, Kenyatta Sr. (Tran), Kentrell, and Keith (Andrea) 
Charles; daughter, Erica Spencer; sisters, Jennie (Darren) Perio and Stefanie 
(Lenwick) Harding; brother, Marvin Spencer; and nine grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her former husband, Jerald Young; parents, Elgin 
Sr. and Mary Hawkins Spencer; brothers, Elgin Jr. and Freddie Spencer; 
grandparents, Arelia Scott, Allen Hawkins, Freddie Sr. and Rosetta Coleman 
Spencer; and granddaugter, Zoee Charles.

Jones Funeral Home in Houma is in charge of arrangements.
