John Antoine Adams Sr., 86, a native of Cut Off and resident of Larose, died 
Tuesday, June 11, 2013.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until funeral time Friday at Sacred Heart 
Catholic Church in Cut Off. A Mass of Christian burial will be at noon Friday 
at the church, 

with burial in Our Lady of the Rosary Cemetery in Larose.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Elma Dufrene Adams; sons, John Adams 
Jr. and Chris M. (Star) Adams; and daughters, Louella Adams and Laura A. (Eric) 
Willbey.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Alcide Adams Sr. and Elmire Melancon 
Adams; brothers, Alcide Jr., Dominick, Horace, Alces and Dudley Adams; and 
sisters, Annie Fonseca, Bella A. Eschete, Jean A. Barrilleaux and Daisy A. 
Bourgeois.

Samart-Mothe Funeral Home in Cut Off is in charge of arrangements.
