Norman Joseph Arceneaux, 72, a native and resident of Gibson, died Wednesday, 
June 12, 2013. 
He was born May 29, 1941.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Saturday at St. Lawrence 
Catholic Church in Chacahoula. A Mass of Christian burial will be at noon 
Saturday at the church.

He is survived by his wife, Brenda Naquin Arceneaux; daughters, Jenise (Todd) 
Ramirez, Angelle (John) Fields, and Monique (Rainier) Livas; brothers, Roy, 
Gilbert, Lynn and Kenneth Arceneaux; eight grandchildren; and two great-
grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond Arceneaux and Jane Thibodeaux 
Arceneaux; daughter, Anne Marie Arceneaux; and brothers and sisters.

Samart Funeral Home in Houma is in charge of arrangements.
