Bruce H. Augustine Jr., 51, a native of Morgan City and resident of Patterson, 
died at 3:54 p.m. Friday, June 7, 2013.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Saturday at Good Hope Baptist 
Church in Patterson. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the 
church.

He is survived by his wife, Lana Minor Augustine, of Patterson; parents, Bruce 
Herbert Augustine Sr., and Annie Evelyn Augustine, of Patterson; sons, Bruce 
Herbert Augustine III and Cameron Reed Augustine, both of Patterson; brothers, 
Thomas (Teresa) Jenkins, of Sacramento, Calif., Charles (Thomassina) Augustine, 
of Bayou Vista, and Clint (Delinda) Gant, of Patterson; and sisters, Elizabeth 
(Leo) Williams, Judy Elaine Augustine and Cora Mae (Joseph) Allen, all of 
Patterson, and Trina Anderson, of Austin, Texas.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Mary (Harvey) and James 
Grogan; paternal grandparents, Lillian Brown Williams and Willie Sr., and 
William Augustine "Paw Paw".

Jones Funeral Home in Morgan City is in charge of arrangements.
