Melissa Henry Brooks, 40, a native of Patterson and resident of Jackson, Miss., 
died at 11:23 p.m. Tuesday, June 4, 2013.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Thursday at New Mt. Esther 
Church in Siracusa. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the church, 

with burial in Willing Workers Cemetery in Patterson.

She is survived by her husband, Lamark Brooks, of Jackson, Miss.; brothers, 
Earl Henry Sr., of New Iberia, and Randy Henry, of Berwick; and sisters, 
Patricia Henry, Nova Merritt and Hope Chatman, all of Patterson.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Leroy Joseph and Velma Jean Brown 
Henry.

Jones Funeral Home in Franklin is in charge of arrangements.
