Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and from 8 a.m. until funeral time Wednesday at Chauvin Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with burial in St. Eloi Catholic Church Cemetery. He is survived by his son, James Joseph Callahan and wife, Ginger, of Theriot; grandchildren, Gaje Boudreaux, Meagan Boudreaux, Kayden Callahan and Faye Callahan; mother, Annie Mae Bourque Champagne; stepfather, Earl Champagne; brothers, Keith Callahan and wife, Dinah, and Garon Alario and wife, Betty; and sisters, Tiffany Moore and husband, Lynn. He was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Faye Billiot Callahan; son, Doug Anthony Callahan; father, James Joseph Callahan; grandchild, Zayla Callahan; and grandparents, Desire Callahan, Lorena Thibodeaux, Joseph Vilmar Bourque Sr. and Marie Derouen Bourque. He worked for Offshore Specialty for many years as a crane operator. Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. ======================
