Joyce M. Callais, 64, a native of Cut Off, and resident of Morgan City, passed 
away June 22, 2013.

Visitation will take place at Samart-Mothe Funeral Homes in Cut Off on June 26, 
from 3:00 pm till 8:00 pm and on Thursday June 27, from 10:00 am till service 
time with funeral service beginning at 1:00 p.m. in the parlor and 

burial following in Cheramie Cemetery.

Mrs. Joyce is survived by her sons Fabian J. Suarez and wife Trista and Curtis 
M. Callais and companion Carrie Villatoro; and sisters Lois Ann Toups and 
Patricia Kanuk and 4 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Tony A. Callais; parents, Irvin and 
Inez B. Matherne; and brothers, John Crow, Irvin Matherne Jr., and Leroy 
Delhomme.

In lieu of flowers the family request donations to offset funeral expenses.
