Gerald "Crust" Carter, 78, a native and resident of Thibodaux, died Monday, 
June 3, 2013.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Saturday at Allen Chapel AME 
in Thibodaux. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. at the church, 

with burial in Allen Chapel AME in Thibodaux cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Dorothy D. Carter of Gray; sons, Gerald Jr., Robert 
and Jerome Carter; daughter, Princess C. Robinson; and three grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Alice and John Carter; brothers, 
Benjamin and Clarence Carter and Ernest Jackson.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

Williams and Southall Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
