Clara Johnson-Castle, 90, a native of Terrebonne Parish and resident of Morgan 
City, died Friday, May 31, 2013.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at Jones Funeral Home Chapel in 
Houma and from 9 a.m. until funeral time Saturday. Funeral services will be at 
11 a.m. Saturday at Church of Christ in Gibson, 

with burial in Southdown Cemetery. 

She is survived by her sons, James (Gloria) Johnson, Edward Jr. (Betty), Issac 
Sr. (Sandry), and Rodney Castle; daughters, Julia Castle, Evella Bradford and 
Clara Johnson; 18 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Castle Sr.; parents, Thomas 
and Molly Johnson; son, Martin Castle; brothers, Arthur Martin, Fred, Albert, 
and Thomas Johnson; sisters, Julia and Rose Johnson, Rosa Sis and Bertha J. 
Redmond; and two grandchildren, Isaiah and Jonas Castle.

Jones Funeral Home in Houma is in charge of arrangements.
