Pearl Mae Champagne, 78, a native of Gheens and resident of Houma, died at 5 
p.m. Sunday, June 23, 2013.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Thursday at Our Lady of the 
Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. 
Thursday at the church, 

with burial in Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church cemetery.

She is survived by her husband, Abbie Champagne; sons, Ray Champagne and wife, 
Cathy, and John Champagne; daughters, Abby Gale LeCompte and husband, Rickey, 
Belinda Martin and husband, Ferrell, Angela Martin and husband, Michael, Paula 
LeBoeuf and husband, Kenneth, and Kelly Champagne and fiance, Troy; brothers, 
Whitney and Ronnie Cressonie; sisters, Betty C. Babin, Dorothy Thomas and 
Rockie Lee Gros; 14 grandchildren; and 30 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry Cressonie and Blanche Matherne 
Cressonie; brother, Herbert Cressonie; and sisters, Bessie C. Guidry, Mary 
Cheramie and Nellie Liversy.

She was greatly loved and will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

The family would like to thank Haley and Grace from the Medical Team and 
Journey Hospice.

Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
