CHAUVIN, JERRY JOHN 

Jerry John Chauvin, 78, a native of Houma and resident of Bayou Blue, died 
Saturday, June 1, 2013.

No services are scheduled at this time.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Beverly Porche Chauvin; sons, Mark 
Chauvin, Keith Chauvin and wife, Tammy, of Houma, and Kevin Chauvin and 
companion, Lisa Campbell, of Wall, Miss.; daughter, Charlene Chauvin of Napa, 
Calif.; sister, AnnaMarie Hughes, of Metairie; grandchildren, Jessica Dunham 
and Daniel Williams of Napa, Calif., James Chauvin, of Longview, Texas, Jason 
Chauvin, of Houma, and Kylie Chauvin, of Yuma, Ariz.; and great-grandchildren, 
Cole Williams, Jacob Chauvin and Jack Lassard; and great-grandchildren, Cole 
Williams, Jacob Chauvin and Jack Lassard.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Davidson Chauvin and Lena Porche 
Martin; stepfather, Gilbert Martin; brother, James Chauvin; and sister, 
Genevieve Ledet.

He was a U.S. Marine Corps Veteran. He was retired from McDermott after 24 
years of service, and retired from ISI after 20 years. He loved fishing and 
gardening.

Samart Funeral Home in Houma is in charge of arrangements.
