Wilda Martin Bergeron Jamieson Daigle, 92, a native of Bourg and resident of 
Bayou Blue, died at 12 p.m. Saturday, June 1, 2013. She was born June 28, 1920.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Tuesday at St. Louis Catholic 
Church. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at the church, 

with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery.

She is survived by her daughters, Joy Bergeron Corley and husband, Verl, Carrin 
Bergeron Songe and husband, Charles, and Susan Bergeron LeBlanc and husband, 
John; son, Peter Jamieson; stepdaughter, Sandra Dupre; stepson, Verlon Daigle 
and wife, Patricia; sister, Maybe Martin; brother, Whitney Martin; 17 
grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Malvin L. Daigle, Ellery Jamieson 
and Louis F. Bergeron; parents, Elfried Martin and Rebecca Martin; twelve 
brothers and sisters; one grandson; and one granddaughter.

Wilda enjoyed working in her garden with her plants. She enjoyed traveling and 
spending time with her family.

Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
