Vanessa Jean Dupre, 57, a native of Point-aux-Chenes and resident of Houma, 
died Friday, May 31, 2013.

Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Samart Funeral Home in Houma. 
Funeral services will be at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

She is survived by her parents, Louby and Emmadel Dupre; sons, Scotty Lewis and 
wife, Hillary, and Leon Lewis and wife, Mickie; sisters, Cynthia "Sis" LeBoeuf 
and husband, Gale, and Connie Putney and husband, Ron; brothers, Myron 
"Maurice" Dupre and wife, Annie, Louby "Doobie" Dupre Jr, and wife, Pat, and 
Dwayne Dupre and wife, Elizabeth "Liz"; sister-in-law, Ellen Dupre; brother-in-
law, Philip Guidry; and grandchildren; Nicholas, Zoe, Annalize, and Nichole 
Lewis.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Carroll "Jose" Dupre; sister, Debra 
Guidry; and grandparents, Lawrence and Ida Dupre, and Paul and Anita Dupre.

Samart Funeral Home in Houma is in charge of arrangements.
