Ellen Marie Rogers Fitch, 48, was born Jan. 21, 1965, at Terrebonne General 
Hospital, and raised in Bayou Lafourche, Houma and Texas. She was a resident of 
Hattiesburg, Miss., and died Saturday morning, May 25, 2013.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Saturday at Samart Funeral 
Home in Houma. A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral 
home.

She is survived by her husband, Michael J. Fitch; sons, Christopher J. Cheramie 
and Donaven Nelton; daughters, Tracie Lynn Nelton and partner, Beau Ledet, 
Jessica "Tookie" Nelton, Kacie Nelton Hartzler and Candace Ann Fitch Reynolds 
and husband, John Reynolds; sister, Tammy Rogers; uncle, Eddie Trahan; aunts, 
Jeanette and Nannie Anna Cheramie; grandchildren, Gage Pellegrin, Riley 
Pellegrin, Diamond Renee Reynolds and Madison and Harlie Ledet; and many aunts, 
uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and close and dear friends.

out - except one, per Ellen's wish!

She was preceded in death by her father, Raymond Rogers; grandfather, Onizime 
Hebert; grandmother/mother, Eleanor Hebert; brother, James H. Leverette IV; 
grandmother-in-law, Augusta Dardar Chaisson, who she loved and was loved back 
as her blood; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and close and 
dear friends.

She was confirmed at Annunziata Catholic Church and had numerous occupations at 
which she excelled!

Samart Funeral Home in Houma is in charge of arrangements.
