Winder "Pete" Guidry Jr., 79, a native and resident of Raceland, passed away 
Wednesday, June 5, 2013.

Visitation was at 8:30 a.m. Thursday until funeral time at St. Hilary of 
Poitiers Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian burial was at 10:30 a.m. 
Thursday, 

with burial in St. Hilary of Poitiers Catholic Church cemetery.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Marguerite Robichaux Guidry; sons, Jude 
Guidry and Guy (Annie) Guidry; daughter, Gay (Craig Meaux) Guidry; brother, 
Carrol Guidry; grandchildren, Thad Guidry, Tricia Guidry, Taryn Guidry and Mimi 
Guidry.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Winder P. Guidry Sr. and Lillian Folse 
Guidry; and sister, Janet Guidry.

Samart-Mothe Funeral Home in Raceland is in charge of arrangements.
