Emelda Hammond, 61, a resident of Terrebonne Parish, died at 8:56 a.m. Sunday, 
June 23, 2013.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until funeral time Saturday at Eagle Wright 
Baptist Church. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the church, 

with burial in Halfway Cemetery.

She is survived by her sons, Charles (Regina) Hammond and Joshua Singleton; and 
one grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Corrine Ross Hammond; and 
brother, Lloyd Hammond.

Jones Funeral Home in Houma is in charge of arrangements.
