Glenn "Big Glenn" Jones Sr., 58, a native of Reserve and resident of Tunica, 
died Friday, June 21, 2013.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Saturday at St. Benedict the 
Moor Catholic Church in Bertrandville. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 
a.m. Saturday at the church.

He is survived by his sons, Glenn Jones Jr. of San Antonio, Texas, and Corey 
Jones, of New Orleans; daughter, Kelly Jones, of Baton Rouge; sisters, Janice 
Hayward of Los Angeles, Calif., Olga LeBlanc, Dale McClain and Genevieve Caston, 
all of LaPlace, and Nella Haydel, of Baton Rouge; brothers, Paul Sr. and Eddie 
Jones, of Reserve, Wayne and Weldon Jones, of Los Angeles, Calif., and Timmy 
Jones, of LaPlace; and many grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Genevieve and Wortham Jones Sr.; 
sisters, Carolyn and Judy Jones; brothers, Wortham Jr., Clyde and Reginald 
Jones; maternal grandparents, Leonaus and Johnny Melancon; and paternal 
grandparents, Olevia and Paul Jones.
Williams and Southall Funeral Home in Napoleonville is in charge of 
arrangements.
