Gloria "Coonie" Lirette, 70, a native of Dulac and resident of Houma, died at 
7:44 a.m. Sunday, June 23, 2013.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Wednesday at Chauvin Funeral 
Home. Liturgy of the Word will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, 

with burial in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2.

She is survived by her sons, Bobby Lirette and fiancee, Mary McCormick, and 
Keith Lirette and wife, Holly Lirette; daughters, Kim Curlin and husband, 
Curtis Curlin, Nanette Upton and husband, Garland Upton, and Paula Snyder and 
husband, Tony Snyder; brother, Russell Bourg; sisters, Rubye Williams and Mary 
Blum; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jules Lirette; parents, Ruffin Bourg 
and Ella Fanguy Bourg; brother, Ruffin "Jap" Bourg Jr.; and sister, Dolores 
Fanguy.

She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend.
She will be missed by all who knew her.

Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
