Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafourche/obits/dateobits/2013/f1306.htm and click on the name of interest. ========== Celestine "Gram" Matherne, 98, a native and resident of Gheens, went to her eternal home in Heaven at 6 p.m. Friday, May 31, 2013, with her family by her bedside. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Monday at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Gheens. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the church, with burial in Holy Savior Cemetery. She is survived by her beloved daughter, Verina M. Schouest and husband, Anderson "Yan"; sister, Eunice D. Rivet; brother, Carol Dufrene; grandchildren, Janene Breaux and Tammy and husband, Joey Toups; great-grandchildren, Kristen Pertuit and husband, Jeremy, Kassie Toups and fiance, Will Richardson, Mattie Toups and husband, Derek, and Meggie Breaux and fiance, Chad Chiasson; great- great-grandchildren, Payton and Halle Pertuit and Holden Falgout; and one expected great-great-grandchild, Greysyn. She was preceded in death by her husband, Felix Matherne Jr.; parents, Andrew J. and Rosa Matherne Dufrene; and brothers, Earl and Harry Dufrene. She was a parishioner of St. Anthony Catholic Church and was a member of the Ladies Altar Society. Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. ======================
