MATHERNE, PAUL "BUDDY" 

Paul "Buddy" Matherne, 80, a resident of Columbus, Ga., died Thursday, May 16, 
2013.

Visitation will be from 9:15 a.m. until funeral time Saturday at First United 
Methodist Church in Houma. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the 
church.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Stella Matherne; sons, Jon (Angela), 
Peter, and David (Gail) Matherne; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; 
and sister, Barbara Rogers.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Allen, Edward and Raymond; 
and sisters, Elsie, Velma, Mable, Verda, Wilma and his twin, Betty.
