Matthew Shepherd, 75, a native and resident of Terrebonne Parish, died at 12:59 
p.m. Friday, June 21, 2013.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Friday at Jones Funeral Home in 
Houma and from 9 a.m. until funeral time Saturday at St. Luke Baptist Church. 
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church, 

with burial in St. Luke Baptist Church cemetery.

He is survived by his former wife, Lucille Scott Shepherd; daughters, Sheila 
Galmore and Linda Bland; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Pearl Newton Allen and Matthew 
Shepherd Sr.; and one daughter, Pamela Denise Swing.

Jones Funeral Home in Houma is in charge of arrangements.
